How Smartphone connect 4 device

Hi Im Newbie in Arduino ..

my project want create SmartPhone connect with 4 device ..im confuse which board better and cheap.. and easy

that device only 2 LED Green and Red
device make portable so use battery

smartphone just give command and choice that device blink red or green

just my newbie opinion

In the light of your description, using four NodeMCUs is as good a way as any. All you need now is a phone app that can do the job.
