how to access a phone number record in the SIM memory by means of ARDUINO?

Hi!
We are working with an ANTRAX GSM/GPS rev. 8 shield for ARDUINO UNO to record the route run by a person with Alzheimer when panic button is pressed in the device. It is a work within a Final Project Career at the University (Technical University of Catalonia). The phone number where the GPS coordinates should be sent to is set in the SIM card with a concrete identifier “ROUTE” as an usual phone number record. We don’t know how can we access that phone number by means of ARDUINO programming language. It’s not a commercial device; we don’t want to earn some money with it. It’s a purely academic work. I beg if you please know how to access a phone number record in the SIM memory by means of ARDUINO program. Thank you very much in advance, Albert Masip-Alvarez

According to the manual for the used GSM device (Telit GE865: http://www.telit.com/module/infopool/download.php?id=542) the necessary commands include AT+CPBS (for selecting the SIM phonebook), AT+CPBF (for finding the named entry) and maybe AT+CPBR (to get an indexed entry in the phonebook).
