How to check if Dabble HC-05 bluetooth module is connected to phone?

I am using the HC-05 bluetooth module so that I can control the Arduino through the Dabble app. I would like a way to check if the bluetooth module is connected to a phone. I've looked through the examples provided with the Dabble libraries but I haven't seen anything like that. Is there a way to check that?
