Some Ideas:
TFT with controller:
Arduino UNO is most probably not fast enough to drive a TFT without a controller, so you should choose a TFT with controller.
Software:
Select a TFT where you know that it is supported by an Arduino lib (e.g. Electronics - Henning Karlsen)
