How to clear MPU-6050 Gyroscope interrupt?

Hello, I want to clear the interrupt flag on MPU-6050 for my micromouse robot.

Does the detachinterrupt() command clear the interrupt? If not, what is the command to clear the interrupt flag.

The reason to do this is because mpu-6050 causes the program to crash midway through.
