How to connect a 12v motor to the UNO?

i have a project in mind, ive just recently finished the proof of concept so i know my idea is viable.

Its now time to create a bigger, human version size of it which includes bigger motors.

So for now, ive seen a 12v high rpm motor online, could this even be connected and controlled by an arduino? I'll possibly be upping it to 24v as ill be needing as many RPMs i can get since im using a few gears to increase the torque

Currently ive been doing the POC with servo motors, ive practised with a few cheap 1-6v RC DC motors using an L293D - but im not sure if itll be the same for a 12v motor.

can this be done? and if so, could someone point me in the right direction please?

Im using a UNO by the way

You want high RPM motors. Will they be brushed motors? Very short life span because of brush wear. Look for a total life span parameter for your motor. Some may be limited to 15 minutes mean time before failure.
You are not referring to "hobby" motors are you?
Paul

say this motor for example (Motor)

Im thinking brushless but for the first prototype, it shouldnt matter much
