How to connect Arduino Nano to Ethernet Shield v2

Hi everyone,

I just bought an Arduino Nano here and an Ethernet shield v2 here.

How do I connect them? Can I just use the ICSP 6 pin connector? Most of the tutorials that I find tell you to just put the shield over a Uno* but with the nano that's not an option.

Also, should I just have bought a w5100 ethernet module instead of the entire shield?

Not sure your link is correct , however I suspect the board is intended for use with a UNO rather than a nano.
You can find adapters that allow such shields with a nano , google will find them or look on eBay

My links are correct (already bought them), I meant UNO, not "mega". I'm not looking for adapters because eventually, I want these on a Pcb so keeping it simple would be ideal.

Your link shows an empty board .

Google “ Arduino Ethernet shield “ that will find you something that plugs on top of a UNO. That is a solution , you can design a PCB for it to plug into if you wish

Please be careful how you post , people waste time trying to help something that you don’t want .

The second picture in that link is what I have. It is an Arduino ethernet shield. I have it on my desk. I don't want to plug it into an UNO, I have an Arduino Nano, like the title says. I want to know how to plug the Ethernet shield into the Nano.

See my first post , buy an adapter to put a nano on that will accept UNO shields.
There is no simple solution unless you buy the individual parts and make your own PCB
