How to connect Arduino with microstep driver

Hi everyone

First time trying to use step motor nema 23 with driver 2L542. Tried to connect driver with arduino Uno 3 but nothing work.

Could you please advice how to connect Arduino with driver and with motor to start working. Please if possible send link where i could see the picture how it can be done.

The main purpose is to recieve forward steps with maximum rpm with possibility to control speed.

Please help,

Than you in advance

I'm guessing you use it like any Step/Direction/Enable driver (except they call the signals PUL, DIR, and ENB). Since each input has a matching +5V connection I expect they are opto-isolated. Hook the three +5V connections to the Arduino's +5V and connect the three input connections to Arduino pins. Try with ENB=HIGH and send pulses to PUL. If it doesn't move try ENB=LOW.

Provide 20V to 50V power to the stepper power input as appropriate for your stepper. Make sure you have the two coils of the stepper each connected as shown on the case.
