How to connect Tiny RTC

Hi
Arduino newbie here.
I have a question about best ways of connecting various Arduino components.
I have successfully managed to use a simple breadboard with "push wire" connectors to set up simple circuits.
But I am stuck about how best to connect my Tiny RTC real time clock.

When i bought the RTC online it came with the bent 6-pin conector you can see in the photo.
But I have a problem connectyingthe RTC to it - because the six pins do not fit snuggly into the holes on the edge of the RTC board - there is some slack / play there so I don't get a solid connection.
On the other hand, the six pins do fit snuggly into the breadboard.
I need help / advice on how the six pin connector should be used.
Do I need to solder a connection on to the RTC?

Thanks for any help.

Yes.

So why did the seller of the RTC send the bent six-pn connector - see photo link in my original post?
What is it used for?

You are supposed to solder the header to the RTC board, if you want to plug it into a breadboard.

// Per.

Thanks for explaining.

Some people might want to use a different type of connector - if it is not soldered then the choice is yours.
