How to connect XBee Series 2 With An Arduino Using just the USB Explorer

I have

  • 2 Xbees
  • 2 USB Explorers
  • 2 Arduinos

The USB Explorers have Male Headers that allow external connections to be amde with Jumper Wires. Inspite of using Classic XCTU as well as newer one, The Xbee connected to Arduino does not get detected. I know the Explorers are working because when connected directly to the PC, the Xbee is detected.

By what? HOW is the XBee connected to the Arduino? (Duct tape doesn't usually cut it.)
