I'm building a simple robot and wanted to use some modded 9g micro servos to drive the wheels. They should move forward and backwards.
Now i got them to move and to stop, but they're only moving in one direction (or just do random movements). I tried several codes for modded servos, but none of it really works as expected.
Searching through the forum and some other sites i couldn't really find what i'm looking for.
I'm using Tower Pro micro servos 9g via Arduino's 3.3V supply.
Try "angles" around 0 for one direction, 180 for the other direction, and 90 for stop.
You will need to experiment to get the stop point exact.
Make sure you have grounds connected.
Thanks!
When i use the sweep sketch (as is) the servo turns clockwise for a few seconds, then stops, turns the other way around for a second, stops, moves on in the same direction for much longer, stops,...
I'm a bit confused because it seems so random. Plus when glueing the potentiometer to the neutral position the motor slowed down and eventually stopped, just as it should, but after a moment it started moving again at full speed. Is this normal behaviour?

No. It sounds like there might be a bad connection to or in the potentiometer.
