How to convert char array to their ascii value?

I'm making clock with my nokia 5110 screen, and instead of showing digits, it's showing char with ascii value, that equals my digit (hour or minute). Help please!!

the elements of char arrays normally are ascii values, unless you are trying to use unicode or something.
