How to convert PROGMEM array to string

Hello, I'm using a library JeUI for generating html for esp8266
the html template is defined as PROGMEM array , I need to update some values
How can I convert it to html and re-convert it back again to PROGMEM ?
it is truncated here because it is too long
#define template_default_len 2385
const uint8_t template_default PROGMEM = {
0x1F, 0x8B, 0x08, 0x08, 0x4C, 0x4F, 0x60, 0x5C, 0x02, 0x00, 0x54, 0x65, 0x6D, 0x70, 0x6C, 0x61,
0x74, 0x65, 0x5F, 0x64, 0x65, 0x66, 0x61, 0x75, 0x6C, 0x74, 0x2E, 0x68, 0x74, 0x6D, 0x6C, 0x00,

This online tool can convert the hex to “UTF-8” or “UFT-16 big endian”:

This online tool can convert the UTF-8 or “UFT-16 big endian” text back into hex. You can have it put commas between the bytes and later use a text editor to change the commas to ‘, 0x’ to get back the C++ source.

Thanks a lot Mr johnwasser.
