how to create a new board in Arduino IDE on Mac

I can't find the board.txt file on my Mac, I know where to look in Windows but not on a Mac. I've tried searching but cannot find it.

I found the board.txt file on a Mac inside the Arduino app: select the Arduino app on finder, clic with secundary button and clic "Mostrar contenido del paquete", in english will be "show content" or similar. Then continue opening: Contents > Resources > Java > hardware > arduino > boards.txt
