How to disable the bias function of PID

Hi, I want to use the bias function under a certain condition only. Hence, I don't want the bias to affect the output when the condition is not met. How do I disable the bias function when it is not needed? Thanks!

I would have thought that as long as you left the bias unchanged, it would have no effect.
