how to edit and save .h and cpp files in library

Hi,

I need to adjust clock rate and some pin numbers in a CAN library root file (.h).
Once I open and edit the .h file, I cannot save it.
The same issue with the .cpp file.
Is there a simple way to overcome this issue?
Thank you in advance.

Move both files to a temp folder on the same disk (*), edit and save them, and move them back by pressing Ctrl-Z in windows explorer.

*: Not in a subfolder of \Program Files\ or \Program Files (x86)\ !

Thank you. I just tried it with Notepad++ and it seems that I can modify and save it this way.
