How to extend a Bluetooth aerial

Good day Ladies and Gents

I have written a sketch for the UNO to provide windspeed courtesy of an Adafruit anemometer but thinking about installing it outside has highlighted a problem.

I want to send the data to a mobile via Bluetooth using an HC-06. This works fine at the workbench but the UNO and the HC-06 will have to be in a weatherproof box or cupboard once put outside.

Is there any way to extend the aerial on the HC-06 such that the electronics could be in the weatherproof box but the transmit recieve antenna outside?

Any help much appreciated.

Can you not use a plastic box? It won't block Bluetooth or Wifi signals.

What good news. I did not know that. Yes, I can put it all into sealed plastic containers.
