I have this IP65 case: http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/524670/Universal-Gehaeuse-ABS-Hellgrau-98-x-64-x-36-Bopla-T-208-1-St and a handmade PCB that fits in this case. Now my question is: How to fix the PCB in the case? There are some holes (see attached picture). But not in the corners. So I think I need some additional frames. Or are this holes for an other purpose and not for PCB mounting?
Get a piece of board about the same size as your PCB. (an offcut of thin ply, plastic or whatever you have) Holding it together with your your PCB and drill a hole in each corner right through the pair of them. This will then become your mounting plate.
Now screw some standoffs to the mounting board. Screw it down to the base of your box.
Finally mount your board on top of the standoffs.
Is that one of these cases?

Ok this could be a solution! Drilling through the case is not optimal--I think, it's an IP65 case and I want to use it outside. But the holes in the center are 4 mm deep and this could be enough for a woodscrew without a through-hole.
Is this the standard mounting method for such cases or are there additional fittings available? The holes looks like a standard.

I don't think so. The data sheet http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/500000-524999/524670-da-01-de-Euromas_Gehaeuse.pdf says "Bopla--a Phoenix Mecano Company" I think
I think some of the Hammond boxes have sensible mounting points for a PCB. I believe they also do an accessory plate that can be used as KenF suggested.
Ian.
Hi, instead of drilling through your IP65 box, you could use strips of double sided tape with runs of silasic beside them to ensure permanent adhesion for the base plate.
Tom....
PS put the stand offs on it first and fix the treads with super glue.

Sticks like sh*t does the job quite nicely.
Use hot glue on the sides , you can then take the board with little pressure (the case would look glue-ii tough)
You can also use little pieces of wood then 'fit' the board inside the case .
