Hi there,
I'm currently controlling a 12v PC fan with my Arduino Diecimila and have used a High Current Load tutorial on the ITP Pcomp website (forum won't let me add the link on my first post) to set it up and it works perfectly.
However - I also have a couple of Arduino NG rev.c that I would like to use for some other fans. The code loaded fine and I set everything up exactly the same, but there just doesn't seem to be any response through the NG besides indicating that it's on.
I've even tested it by using the same exact setup and just switching out the Diecimila for the NG, but nothing. I've tried this several times using all the NGs I have. Also reloading code, checking connections, power switch, etc. None of the NGs work, though any Diecimilia I test does.
I realize the NG is older & different, but I'm not exactly sure how besides not having an LED on pin 13.
If anyone can please help me get these NGs to work with the 12v fans - I'd really really appreciate it.
