How to get arduino up and running

Hello everyone!
I just bought a elegoo mega 2560 starter kit, and when I connect it to the pc, nothing happens. LED blinks by default, but my pc seems to not detect the Arduino itself because even installing bare minimum fails.
When I try "Get board info" it shows me - Native serial port, can't obtain info. However, it is connected through USB. Have tried USB 2.0 and 3.0, still no luck. In the ports, it shows only COM1. I am using windows 10.

Edit: Ok it was my stupidity :smiley: I needed to insert usb cable more deep.

There are a lot of tutorials on youtube on how to set up elegoo Arduinos. Try following those.
