How to Get IP of domain?

Hi

I'm new here. Need some help I want to get IP of any domain, with esp8266 AT Command, there is command AT+CIPDOMAIN to get IP of any domain. Can it done with arduino + 5100 ethernet shield?

Thks

Yes. I use it in my NTP sketches.

#include <Dns.h>

DNSClient dnClient;

  dnClient.begin(Ethernet.dnsServerIP());

  if(dnClient.getHostByName("pool.ntp.org",timeServer) == 1) {
    Serial.print(F("ntp = "));
    Serial.println(timeServer);
  }
  else Serial.print(F("dns lookup failed"));

There is a ping example in the playground, but I haven't tried it yet. http://playground.arduino.cc/Code/ICMPPing
