How to glue submersible pump to the bottom of water tank?

Hi guys.

I built an automatic watering system for my garden using the mini submersible water pump and a float switch. The final piece of a puzzle is to somehow glue the pump to the bottom of the water tank and to glue the pump to a float switch. So when water tank runs out of water, that should be detected on a water switch and a pump should be stopped. They would be linked as on the image

Any ideas about which glue to use? All materials are plastic

I'd use a nylon tywrap or the like and sit the pump on a brick in the bottom of the tank. I wouldn't place the pump physically on the bottom as sooner or later it will start to suck up the inevitable crap that accumulates at the bottom of the tank.
