I have a project measuring air quality every hour and posting to Web and it's powered from a wall socket.
I have built a little acrylic box for it which is about 6" x 6" x 6" which might weigh about 1/2 a pound. The components are just a an Uno, a Grove shield and a co2 sensor which might all weigh about 1/2 a pound.
I'm wondering how to set it up outside my room wall which is wooden boards and sheet rock.

The support for the box. I'm thinking of using wood screws to hold a couple of brackets. I'm thinking I'll need a way to hold the box to the brackets.

Feeding air into the box. I was thinking of using a pvc pipe with elbows to make a sort of chimney to feed air into the box. I was hoping of making a tall chimney with a drain loop before entering the bottom of the box.

Power feeding the box. I had thought of simply running a cable through a pvc pipe of about 1/2" to run the power cable straight thru the wall.
But then I thought it might be a better idea to make a long rectangular prism box that went through the wall. This way I could have access to the project itself for both power and even uploading a new sketch in case of updates.
Attached is a drawing of my original idea (top) and my recent idea (bottom).
Id appreciate comments and suggestions. Thanks!
