How to import .H files?

Hi all,

I have a sketch with a lot of .H files.
So I put all files (INO and H) in a zip, and downloaded them.
When I open the INO, the H files are not automatically added in the editor winwow, I have to import them one by one from my PC.
I never got this problem with desktop editor !

Thanks for help.

I tried to find an answer with the search engine, but was not successful!

Hi @F6EEQ. I just tried importing a ZIP file that contained a sketch with a .ino and a .h file and it worked as expected. Please provide a ZIP file that causes the problem for you in an attachment to a reply here on this forum topic and I'll investigate further.

Are you using the "new" Cloud Editor, or are you still using the old one?

Hi,

I made a ZIP with the .INO and about 75 .H (serving as configuration files for the program various options), but got only the INO...
I checked the ZIP, and all files are in, but only the INO opens.

k3ng_keyer.zip (387.3 KB)

Thanks for help

I imported your ZIP file with both the "new" Cloud Editor and the "old" Cloud Editor and it worked as expected both times.

I wonder if it might be caused by you not having sufficient storage allocation in your Arduino Cloud account to accommodate the full sketch. You can check how much of your storage allocation is used by opening this page:

https://app.arduino.cc/plan-usage

Does that page show that you have enough storage available for a >1.5 MB sketch?

OK.
I have unlimited storage as I have a paid option for the cloud.

Very strange...
I re-imported my ZIP on a new sketch creation, and everything is OK !!
Mystery of computers !!!
Thanks anyway for trouble.
Gerard.

You are welcome. I'm glad it is working now.

Regards,
Per
