How to Lower power with RP2040 Seeed XIAO?

Hi

I am running a Seeed XIAO RP2040 with a simple timer function and an e-ink display.

What "low hanging fruit" is there to lower power consumption, as it is battery operated.
I am thinking mainly of things that can be turned off.

I read something about the possiblity to turn the second core off. Can I do that, how, and how much power consumption would that save?
