First of all you have to close all holes on the breadboard and enclose it with a tight frame so that the electrolytic fluid can't flow away. Then poor in the electrolyte of your choice and immerse the anode and cathode of your choice. You'll need a couple of such breadboards for obtaining a reasonable voltage.
