How to make my board be viewed as COM in device manager

Hi. I am trying to make a midi controller. I installed the control_surface library and uploaded an empty sketch into the board. After that I used flip and now when I plug the arduino board, the computer sees it as a midi device. Now I want to undo this in order to upload the code which actually does something, but I can't because the computer doesn't see the board as a COM port. (Sorry if I use the terminology poorly, but I am new to this). I tried reseting the arduino from the button, nothing, I used the pins near the USB B port, nothing. How can I make my board behave normal?

Hi, thanks for answering. The problem is that the hex file is too large and flip cannot upload the firmware.

Yes. And it also has an atmega 328p which is connected on a breadboard at this moment because I tried to burn a bootloader, but no result, as the board can't be read by the pc as a com
