How to measure very low current(<mA) across 200V.

I need to use old soviet photo sensor(used in kino/film projectors for reading sound strip). It needs 100-300V power to operate. Current is measured this way:
Would it be possible to use any current measuring shields like Adafruit INA219 Current Sensor or will it be fried by 200V.

Current would be measured using the voltage across a shunt resistance to ground, and you can limit
this voltage by choosing the right resistance value and adding zener protection across it too.
