The input voltage of the Arduino Uno R3 board is 7-12V, so you should be fine. However, if you're using some other Arduino-compatible board, I'd recommend checking the specs because the voltage regulator on other boards may not be able to handle 12V.
That is a NO NO NO. You can not run 12V into the Vcc pin. The correct one is Vin.
I never said VCC lol. VCC is 5V for Arduino Uno.

OP posted a diagram showing the 12v connected to Vcc instead of Vin.
Ahh yes, didn't see that.

So i cant use a 12v to the Vin??? Can i put some zener diodes to the Vin ??? to protect voltage kicks?
You can put 12V on the VIN pin of the Arduino, but NOT on the 3V3 or 5V pins.

So if the solenoid is powered by 12v. therefore can i get also power from the 12v battery to power the arduino?
Im just worried because maybe it will destroy the arduino??
Can you give me some advice just to protect the arduino??
What the man said. #8. Also #1. You can run the Arduino safely from 12V. Just not incorrectly...

"Input Voltage (recommended) 7-12V"
You have a power jack in lower left corner. Get the right plug and power it up.
