How to send a motor shaft to a specific place?

So I have s servo and a horn (eventually it’ll be a shaft0; i need to place the motor somewhere specific but the motor shaft needs to be quite a way away. The shaft needs to go straight in 20mm, turn 90 degrees, go straight 160mm, turn 90 degrees more etc.
Whats the best way of doing this?

This may be the wrong topic area, i do apologise

I have no idea what you are talking about. Post a diagram.

Here’s a quick sketch i made. I hope it makes sense - Image

Please post images in line, using the "Preview" and "Attachments" button in the editor.

You will need two right angle 1:1 gearboxes, extension shafts and shaft couplers for that arrangement. It will be expensive, waste motor power and have gear backlash.

you will need two 90 degree bevel gear sets or two90 degree bevel gearboxes they are on eBayunder these headings.arthurml.

So there a downside to this such as loss of torque/power/RPMs etc?

Is this the only way to do it? Is there any such thing as a flex cable for a shaft?

you could buy a couple outhouse drill flexible shafts (dye grinders) that you ft one end to drill other end you fit a grinding bit and join them together,on the other hand two arduino boards with radio connection may do away with shafts if you can fit motor other end to drive from receiver signal.

Yes, buy them at home improvement stores, hobby shops, etc.

They don't work for abrupt 90 degree angles.

Your picture/diagram really wants to use a timing belt and two pullies. What are you designing that requires such an orientation of devices?
