How to send arduino(uno) raw data to excel?

I'm running on Windows 10 and Excel 2013.

Upgrade Excel to 2003 and you will probably be OK.

The big things about PLX are live graph and timestamping. If you are not intending to use graph, sending the data to a proper terminal programme, like RealTerm, is pretty useful. They can record CSV and include timestamping from the PC clock just like PLX.

Another option is a real-time freebie put out by the University of Melbourne, I think it is called Live Graph. It was pretty good but I didn't pursue it because I use PLX.

If visual is what you are mainly about, I get a live graph on the phone with Bluetooth Graphic Terminal and download CSV later as needed. Not as good but very convenient.

There are bound to be other options, so there is no need to re-invent the wheel, and you can safely leave learning Python to those that like messing about.
