How to stop arduino program in arduino IDE before using Arduino in Excel using data streamer?

We cannot use arduino board with arduino IDE and excel simultaneously at one time

So How to stop and disconnect Arduino board from arduino IDE before using it in Excel using data streamer?

If you have the Serial Monitor or Serial Plotter in use, you simply close them using the 'x' button at the top right hand corner.

It's as simple as that.

If you are not using the Serial Monitor or Serial Plotter, then nothing is needed to be done.
