im currently making a project, it has a regulated power supply up to 1a 5v, a uno inside i would like to turn on the power via a momentary push switch on the front panel, can someone recommend me a circuit for doing this?

Have push-switch control a mains re;ay. NO contact on relay is wired across switch. When switch is pushed, relay closes, contact bridges switch and relay stays energised. Second set of contacts on relay then controls your other devices. I leave it to you to work out how to turn the system off (it isn't hard)

How are you going to do that electronically, except by using jack's relay?
