How to upload file to laptop with adafruit cc3000 and Arduino uno?

Hi,

I'm doing a project about taking photos and upload to computer via Wi-Fi. I bought the CC3000 breakout board from adafruit and wired it with arduino uno board. I tried the examples of CC3000 wireless communication but was unable to find an approach to upload photos captured to my laptop.

Could I get some advice?

That setup will have a rate of bad images between 5% and 15%. I finished my project a year ago with unto, exact camera and resistors and got this number consistently with two cameras. Once Ii used hardware serial port on MEGA, bad images are gone. FYI, you need to know how to set up your own server. If you use eye-fi WiFi enabled SD card, instead, all images are automatically uploaded to your pc. Check it out.

Could you tell me how to set up a server supporting tcp port connection?

This article didn't provide enough information about the tcp connection and how to set up a server, which confuse me.

Well, I don't quite know myself. :frowning:

On an arduino with arduino official wifi shield, I know how to. On a pc or Linux, I don't know where to put may hands and feet. Sorry. This is why I suggested eye-fi. Have you googled it yet?

I know Eye-fi, it's really cool, just a little bit expensive.

Well, you have money for an equally expensive wifi shield, so come on!
