How to use arduino cloud

I'm exploring arduino create enviroment and cloud component and I don't understand what I can do with current cloud implementation or generally speaking what is offerd by cloud service in create

the only documentation I found on the introduction web page is that

"system consists of an MQTT broker which enable you to send messages from one board to another"

but from the cloud page (https://cloud.arduino.cc/cloud) I can just create/delete my object

I start also looking to 2 examples but sorry not clear to me how to use the broker
a part from generating device name/ID/PWD what can I do from cloud dashboard ? how can I see published events ?

any document/tutorial?

thanks
Davide

At the moment the Arduino Cloud just allows you to send messages from one device to an Other via MQTT messaging.

As you correctly understood, The only feature that the dashboard support at the moment is the creation of API keys that you should to use to authenticate your device on the platform.

More feature will be added soon, but it would be interesting to hear what you were expecting or what you would love to find included in the Arduino Cloud platform.

Ok understood..

very anxious to see the first "usable" release and the feature roadmap

the expectation is that since "arduino is arduino" and is entering late in this IoT paradigm and cloud integration must be innovative and "differnt" in comparison with your competitors (and idee they are so many..), is the burden to be the best

serivice that I love...and you can clone

https://temboo.com for the reachness of protocol and integration
Ubidots — Powerful but simple Industrial IoT for the trigers and mobile integtration
https://www.initialstate.com/ for data visualization and dashboard
Beebotte easy to use
https://data.sparkfun.com/ perfect for prototype and develop

I believe the most valuable thing you could add would be to make a wordpress widget that allowed your arduino to connect to the wordpress site, and store data to the site which allowed the site to show what your server code shows when two devices are connected to the same wifi modem.

The reason is because a lot of people would like to show off their coding skills and what they made, but the people they want to show it to aren't always in the same building. There are ways to get this done, but to simplify the process, make it so the cloud can connect to a wordpress widget and store the data there. It would be more helpful if there was a way for the wordpress site to send data back to the arduino so that by clicking a button, you can turn leds on and off without being in the same building by using a nice looking website made from the code you programmed.
