How to use the Web Editor.

Hello,
When I try to program my Arduino mega using the web editor, it says that the serial port is unavailable, and the upload button is grey.
Can anyone please help me.

You have to register your device with the IDE. Did you read/follow this guide?

Also, "To upload a sketch via USB port, make sure the Plugin is installed and running on this computer."
