At the moment I'm using TFT 1.44 SPI displays with great satisfaction (see attached photo).
Nevertheless now I have a new challenge: to reduce a frontal footprint as much as I can (every single millimeter would be a victory).
By googling, I have encountered some ST7735 TFTs without the PCB board behind, as well as the related little circuitry. How they are supposed to be used? :o
I suppose that one should add the oppurtune components to this "raw" displays? I'm right?
I have found the (big) datasheet for the ST7725, but there is no info about the additional circuitry necessary to make it working.
Any idea?
Somebody tried using this strange displays?
