How to write the DAY to an SD card

I know how to serial print the "day of the week" to the serial port, but how can I write the "day of the week" to a SD card?

The exact same way. Both the Serial class and the SD class import from the Print class so they have the same methods.

Serial.print("DAY");
mySD.print("DAY");  // need to open the file first - look at SD examples
