Unlike other posts, I want to purposefully create a vibration or rapid small movements for short duration bursts, say for 2 seconds, with a 28BJY-48 12V motor. I can only use the motor and not a purpose-made vibrator.
Has anyone had any experience doing something like this?

attach something heavy enough and unbalanced to the shaft and rotate fast may be ?
High impedance gearmotors like the 28BYJ-48 are totally unsuited for rapid movements.

What will cause the vibrations? How will you attach it to the motor? You will have to test to see if you can create rapid small movements that fit your project.
Is there a 28byj-48 size rotating motor what would be more suitable?
Please explain as clearly as possible what you mean by rapid and/or small movements, especially the frequency (in Hz) and dimensions of the motion (fraction of full rotation, etc.).
