"How & Which" display for arduino tetris project.

I am making a game-boy-like hand held console game based on arduino haven't chosen the board yet, so any recommendations are welcome.

So, which display (like specific model, e.g. LCD-09393) should I use, I don't know much but LED/LCD won't be an issue for me.

Also, please suggest a suitable library & some good simple "learn as you write" example code for the same. Because 2 good contenders I saw are both Parallel & not Serial :frowning:

The display can be monochrome, but if it has a few basic colours it would be great.
Thank you

EDIT
I can't reveal the algo. so please don't ask me for it.

I like the digole displays (digole.com). They have ones with controller boards that you can easily control over SPI/Serial/I2C, and offloads a lot of the work that the Arduino would normally have to do to control the display onto that controller board. Their command to move around blocks of the display by just sending a few bytes over serial sounds like it would be really useful for your purposes.
