HW-MS03 shielding and safety

The HW-MS03 microwave sensor is almost ideal for my project, if only I could shield one side because I myself should not trigger an alarm. In my application, the sensor will stay less then 1 meter from me all night while I sleep. Other than the inconvenience of the sensor detecting my movement, I am also wondering if there are any health risks with prolonged exposure to this sensor.

I tried to shield one side with various metal objects, including a 25mm thick metal disc, one layer copper PCB, aluminium and stainless steel pots and pans.

Questions:
Is it safe to sleep in the proximity of this sensor for 8 hours every night?
How can I completely shield one side to prevent detecting my movements?

Try an aluminum pie pan!

Beautiful! Camping stove heat reflector kinda works, tested indoors where the sensor still picks up some movement probably reflecting of the walls.
When the sensor is inside the pie pan, being blocked from the bottom and sides, it does shield much better.

Note: a thin pie pan does nothing to shield the sensor. This one worked.

Seems very unlikely, given the extremely low power RF that the sensor produces (a milliwatt or so). Your mobile phone transmits 1000x as much RF energy.
