HX711 Overflow Issues

You can use a smaller resistor and a series resistor pot or sometimes it's more convenient to find the resistor that is too large and trim it down with a large parallel resistor.
This the case especially when you have some gauges already bonded and it's not easy to substitute a lower value resistor.


You can see in this example. You would find the "too large" resistor by trial and error or with a multimeter with good resolution.
I found this handy balancing 1000s of bonded strain gauge transducers. :grinning_face:
