hx711 with arduino micro

i know that i need a hx711 library for the arduino to read it but i have no idea where to get the library, how to use it or what to do with it, i have it already wired up and tried running some code that didnt work, do i need to download a hx711 library and save it somewhere or what?

do i need to download a hx711 library

No. There is nothing magic in putting declarations in a header file, and implementations in a source file, and packaging the code as a library.

The same code will work in your sketch.

I spent 0.28 seconds with google, though, and found a library...

Being an absolute novice, i can barely understand any of that.. i know its a simple process, but i have no idea what to do

sketch_feb01a.ino:4:19: fatal error: hx711.h: No such file or directory

include "hx711.h"

i have downloaded a library [ https://github.com/bogde/HX711 ] put the zip file and the extracted zip file in my arduino IDE, and i still get this error message, i straight up dont know what is wrong or what to do

i straight up dont know what is wrong or what to do
