HX711 working at non expected sampling frequencies

Hi to everyone!

I'm working on a project with the HX711 ADC but when i change the sampling frequency from 10Hz to 80Hz some of the modules work at more than 80 Hz (82 to be exact) and some others work at less than 80 Hz (77 and 79 Hz). Any suggestion?

Is that a problem?
The HX711 runs by default on an internal clock, that might not be that accurate.
But that does AFAIK not affect performance.
The chip can also be clocked with a crystal, or external (see datasheet, page4).

Hi Leo,

First of all thanks for your reply! It is a bit of a problem sincei want the modules to be sampling at same frequency to have the same signal length. I didn't think about the crystal! I'll check it and see what happens. :slight_smile:
