i always get avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

Using Arduino Avrdude, stk500, Bootloader issues

windows 10 pro 64bit
Arduino im using Amazon.com

I have the correct serial port tried multiple usb ports
I have reinstalled the drivers
I have tried different processes
my Arduino lights are
ry:off
tx:off
pow:on
L:flashing

Did you select the correct com port in the IDE?

Check in Windows device manager which extra port shows up when you connect the nano; that's the one to select in the IDE.

I did not follow the link; if this is a clone, you might have to install the CH340 driver.

I had the same problem: it came from the DTR pin.
Have a look on my post and read the way to do it.
