I am trying to upload a program to my classic Arduino Nano. When i go to the port manager on the Arduino IDE it doesn't show up in the list of ports like most boards normally do. When I go to the device manager on my Windows 11 computer and I select the ports tab It shows up as USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM9). so I went to the port manager in Arduino IDE, selected COM9 and tried to upload the program and then it gave me an error code saying access was denied. I tried to open the serial monitor to COM9, but it just gave me another error code, saying the port was busy. I looked at the indicator lights on the Nano and the TX and RX pins were coming on solid spontaneously and the L indicator light was blinking at random times and turning on dimly occasionally. Please give me any advice you may have about this issue. i don't know what the matter is. Thank you!

Win11 is notorious for updating the CH340 driver when you don't want it too.
You want an older driver, 2014 I think. Prolly showing a 2023 driver in your Device Manager control panel at present.
Hope this helps.

BTW, keep the downloaded driver somewhere handy as this is going to happen again.
I like linux it does not have that problem and can be loaded with windows giving you a duel boot.

In a boot duel, my right boot will always win.
