I cannot get the Arduino Create for Education to work

I have just signed up and I don't mind paying the monthly fee, but I cannot get the Arduino Create for Education to work. It only registers as the "Free" version and it keeps saying the extension needs to be installed (even though it is installed under extensions in Chrome)

It doesn't pick up the Arduino Mega, so I cannot load any code to the Arduino.

I really don't mind paying, but I think it is fair to expect something that works and some form of direct support

Hi @Shockwavethe2. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Arduino Create app.

I've moved your post our forum board specifically dedicated to this topic, where the people knowledgeable on this subject are more likely to see it.

Can you please post the link to the " forum board specifically dedicated to this topic"?

My app was working last Spring. I deleted last Spring's students and added this Fall's students and am now getting the "No Chrome App Connection" error. Nothing has changed in my Google Admin console. VERY frustrating.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with the Arduino Create Chrome app. You're welcome to contact Arduino's support via this form:

I am struggling with this same issue. I tested this program on my school issued chromebook and it is working for me, but the students are unable to use the app, even though the extension is installed. I have given them the links to connect their accounts, the emails are correct. But when they go to code it says the app is not installed. I have been working with my IT department and they have unblocked all the necessary sites, yes I did see the link about what to have It unblock.

This is very frustrating because I am paying for the subscription that isn't working.
