I can't explain this code behaviour and need help

What printf? How does serial.print()'s seeming priority manifest itself?

Do you have any example code that demonstrates this?

Just I like to know ahead of time if there be large ditches covered with straw.

I do know that mixing Serial.)with printf() is not a good idea. It screws up the output sequence
