hi, recently I thought about building a device with arduino that needs distance sensors like the classic HC-SR04 sensors. the problem is that these are too bulky, I would need sensors about the shape and size of an SD card that work in a range from 1.5 meters to 2 meters, longer distances are not essential. I searched for a long time but I found very little, would anyone be able to recommend me sensors with the shape as I wrote before? Any type is fine

This specific microwave sensor is larger than you wish, others may be found perhaps smaller. I have a friend using on for robotics and he raves about it.

It looks thicker than i thought, there is some alternatives that are more flat? it's fine also a 2d sensor.
I appreciate it but I don't have such a huge budget. I can spend less than 5 euros for each sensor because I need to buy a bunch of them.
