I can't load a sketch to Arduino Micro

I cant load any sketch to my arduino.

  • Arduino Micro R3
  • IDE Version 1.6.13

device is properly connected as "COM9 (Arduino/Genuino Micro)" (after reboot any other number maybe)

The error message:

Beim Hochladen des Sketches ist ein Fehler aufgetreten

It seems to me the avrdude is a bit fast. The error appears, before the Arduino has "rebootet" and before COM is available again.

I uploaded some bootloader from "caterina" directory (with AVRISP-MK2 programmer using the ICSP interface from AVR-Studio directly). The result is the same: I cant upload a sketch from Arduino IDE (I tried to load the sketch "blink").

(After loading another bootloader, the buildin LED blinking like "blink" should do (a change every second...)
Before loading another bootloader the Arduino sent "TESTATA" to terminal. I guess that the factory setting/program.

Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

Tanks for your reply. I read this thread before.

I think there's something wrong in the timing and re-connecting between the virtual COM port in Arduino IDE for the Micro.

Now it will work - but only on the first Micro board.
What I do....

I gave up for a while until I get or find a solution for this problem... This time I wrote some code around the serial port and builin LED. I exported the HEX (Ctrl + Alt + S) and upload it with AVR Studio directly.
There were two binaries: with and without bootloader. I ever tried the bootloader again and test the "upload" function.
After trying around 10-15 times it worked..... And since that point its working until now....again and again.

Now I take my second factory-new Micro and it dont work (like descibed above).

On my point of view the bootloader seems to be working. OK, my program was growing but if I upload the "blink" example it works.....

Curious.....
